It may sound cliche, but we are not like any other gym!  Sure, we have weights, barbells and cardio equipment, like you would find in any other gym, however, what sets us apart is our ethos and our coaching team!

OUR ETHOS

Life lacks quick fixes, and so does fitness. Our approach is entirely personalised to meet each client's unique needs, training preferences, and goals.

We're dedicated to guiding clients on a journey toward long-lasting health and well-being. While fitness is often seen as a solution for surface-level concerns like fat loss or muscle gain, we prioritise helping clients not only look great but also feel fantastic, focusing on building enduring, healthy habits rather than short-lived trends.

A SHORT STORY ABOUT US…

R1F, initially founded in 2013, came under the ownership of Anna Banton and Dawn McCurry in October 2022.

Prior to taking over, both Anna and Dawn had been active members and coaches at the gym. Since taking over, they have created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a primary emphasis on meeting the clients' needs, both within and beyond the gym environment.

The Team

We have a team of six floor coaches: three women and three men. Each coach brings a unique blend of coaching and fitness expertise, coupled with their individual life experiences!

Although our backgrounds are diverse, we share a common mission. We aim to infuse fun into fitness, guide individuals towards lasting transformations, and make a significant positive impact on our local community!
