Meet The Coaches


Dan Bell

Certifications: CrossFit L1, Personal Trainer Diploma L3, Precision Nutrition ProCoach L1, KBT Powerlifting L1, CrossFit Gymnastics Cert.

What do you specialize in? I'm most excited about coaching people to transform their body through nutrition and fitness. And I love gymnastics...

What are you passionate about? Working towards making our gym the best training facility possible, building an amazing team of coaches and creating our tribe of members who are smashing life!

What do you love most about coaching your members? Being able to have a bit of banter with the members whilst still working hard. Plus as corny as it sounds, we do genuinely change peoples lives for the better.

What is your athletic background? I served as an Infantryman with the Army and am proud to say was part of Op Herrick 9 in Afghanistan. After leaving the army I've dipped my toe in bodybuilding style workouts, BJJ and powerlifting before finding and falling in love with CrossFit. I have now competed in several team and individual competitions. 

How did you end up as a CrossFit coach? I was a fitness trainer for years before finding CrossFit.. Once I got involved in classes as a member I wanted to learn more and start coaching myself. Fast forward meeting this old man called Glen who was also coaching, we knew we could one day do an awesome job at opening our own gym. Now here we are!

Glen Oliver

Certifications: CF Level 1, CF Level 2,CF Judges Course, BWL Level 1, Opex Assessment and Program Design Modules

What do you specialize in? Specialise in program design for both those looking to achieve balanced fitness and also those looking to compete as a sport. 

What are you passionate about? Passionate about the continual growth of CrossFit within the UK to introduce it to people who have grown bored of traditional training methods.

What do you love most about coaching your members? I love giving someone a Coaching cue for a movement and seeing everything click into place for that member.... These moments aren't that common but when they are they're awesome.

What is your athletic background? Prior to CrossFit played basketball and swam at County Level as a teenager then developed an interest in Bodybuilding and Running. Have completed two marathons one of which with only 3 weeks notice and completed in various CrossFit competitions.

How did you end up as a CrossFit coach? Found a passion for CrossFit as a training methodology and it felt like a natural transition into wanting to help other people learn it. This in turn lead to the idea of opening our own gym which thanks to it's success enabled me to leave a 13 year career in the Police.

Donato De Vita - coach

Certifications: Level 4 certified Personal Trainer with 4 years experience.
CrossFit L1. Precision Nutrition L1.
What do you specialize in?: I Specialize in CrossFit and one on one personal training for Weight loss and lifestyle change.

What are you passionate about? I'm Passionate about improving people through coaching and passing on my knowledge and experience to members so that they can have the best hour of their day when coming to the gym.
What do you love most about coaching your members? I love the banter, the day to day interaction with people from all walks of life and seeing members gain confidence week by week from coming to the box.
What is your athletic background? I have played and coached Football from the age of 5 years old. I  Played Semi Professional Football in Italy and have always had an interest and passion for competitive sport hence me looking to Cross fit to quench my thirst for my competitive outlet. I  compete regularly throughout the year in various CrossFit competitions in the South of England wherever on a individual basis or team.

How did you end up as a CrossFit coach? Having been a Personal Trainer I looked to Join the box for my own training. Having a real passion for the sport I was offered an opportunity to coach by Dan and Glen which I  was happy to take and have been ever since!

Rob Thompson - Coach

I am Robert Thompson, of House Targaryen. Rightful heir to the Iron Throne, King of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, the Rhoynar, and the First Men. I am the Dad of Dragons, the Khal of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, and Breaker of Chains.

Certifications: Advanced diploma in personal training. Crossfit l1. British weightlifting level 1. Crossfit mobility and movement

What do you specialize in? Weightlifting/ strength
What are you passionate about? Anything to do with weightlifting, coaching members and helping everyone improve!

What do you love most about coaching your members? Seeing everyone improve week on week! 
What is your athletic background? 8 years Badminton at a competitive level. 

How did you end up as a CrossFit coach? After seeing crossfit on the internet I decided this was the style of training I'd like to pursue, I started implementing CF style workouts into my normal training and before I long I had my self booked onto the level 1 coaching course.
